Description: This is a new publication of Werner Heisenberg's book The Physical Principles of the Quantum Theory.W. The book contains Heisenberg's lectures on the Physical Principles of the Quantum Theory given at the University of Chicago in the spring of 1929. What makes this book especially valuable is that it is a first-hand explanation of the origin of quantum mechanics by one of its founding fathers (Nobel Prize for Physics for 1932).
