Anguel S. Stefanov is professor of philosophy in the Institute for the Study of Societies and Knowledge at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and a corresponding member of the Academy. His main fields of research are philosophy of science and epistemology. He has published 14 books and more than 170 papers concerning the nature and aspects of physical reality, philosophy of space and time, human knowledge, structure and dynamics of scientific theories.
